Johan Botha is a professional game ranger by trade, having worked for many years in game parks across Southern Africa. He moved to the US several years ago where he launched Oryx Contractors. His favorite pastime is spending time with his two daughters.

Our Namesake
Oryx Contractors LLC is named in honor of the african oryx (gemsbok). The qualities of the oryx reflect the qualities of our company. The oryx is known for its strength (the horns are able to fend off lions), its ability to make a quick and efficient start (newborn calves are able to run with the herd immediately after birth), its endurance (it can last without water for very long periods), and its commitment to its community (living peacefully while supporting each other in large herds).
